Females in panic, can now inform their near and dear ones thro" new smartphone app.
Females can now download Fight Back app. on their smartphone, which is available on Mahindra Group's website and is available to the public ( its free )
It enables females to send SOS messages to those in contact during emergency crises, the application tracks a user location and sends messages.
Another application I AM SAFE, can also be downloaded - created by a Bangalore based company (mobiwhiz). It was launched one year back reports your location to your chosen contacts that will receive sms with your current location retrieved automatically. The app. is also free of cost.

This year's Goa's carnival to be opened by Chiranjeevi
Chiranjeevi to inaugurate
float parade in Panaji , first day of festivities, state minister for tourism Parulkar
told PTI.
Parades will be held in Panaji, Mapusa, Margao, Vasco and another town to be decided.
It will be spearheaded by a
float of king momo, a mythological figure who rules the state for 3 days.
It has become a integral part
of Goa’s festival. Which was brought to Goa by erstwhile rulers (Portuguese).

Russians clash with locals - Morjim-GOA
In Morjim beach Russians have taken over business of taxing tourists from the hands of locals, which was confronted by locals and ended in clashes- Pernem police is looking for a solution and investigating the complaints of local. Maximum locals were having only means (taxi & motorcycle) of survival, in this particular area catering to tourists mostly Russian tourists. Russians have used their language as a base to benefit and got into the business. Also it is a known fact they have purchased some local hotels which is operated by themselves. All these incidents have set the locals on fire and this confrontation is also joined by local political workers which has been brought to notice of Goa's chief minister, who has promised a solution.
