This year's Goa's carnival to be opened by Chiranjeevi
Chiranjeevi to inaugurate
float parade in Panaji , first day of festivities, state minister for tourism Parulkar
told PTI.
Parades will be held in Panaji, Mapusa, Margao, Vasco and another town to be decided.
It will be spearheaded by a
float of king momo, a mythological figure who rules the state for 3 days.
It has become a integral part
of Goa’s festival. Which was brought to Goa by erstwhile rulers (Portuguese).
